If I had a question
A question to ask God
And if I had just one wish
One wish to say I’ve got
I would ask him why he chose this boy
And why he made him suffer
Is it because he thought he was big and bad
And so he felt much tougher?
Was it because of things that he had said
Or things that he had done
God, please tell me now
Why did you change her son?
I’d ask God to please change him back
Back to the little boy from school
Back to the boy we’ve all known and loved
And that’s oh so cool
I’d ask him why he did this
And why he made her cry
I’d ask him just this one more thing
God why?
