I can almost ended with not again
The lie I barely got caught in.
Every morning is new, undented
Spirit tries holding on unrelented.
Sooner than tomorrow, I’ll be older
Pushing open doors, I’m bolder.
Give the sun a chance,
It doesn’t shine indoors.
There is a smile waiting here
Patient with each wave of fear.
A reward awaits each future week
The kind not handed over to the meek.
And what future holds I can control
With positive feelings all through my soul.
