The Journey

I have this one journey to take,
Destination unknown…

I have rested for far too long,
Stagnant i have become,
Fear is my friend,
Movement is my foe…

I have tried to take this journey partly,
Now i am ready to go the whole way…

I pray for courage,
I bow down to the gods,
To angelic higher beings,

I ask them to send me a navigator…
Can i do this all by myself?

It has been a silken incarnation…
I have lost my own north star,

My heart and soul guide me forward,
Body and mind are left far behind…

Am i already there?
Have i come this far for nothing?

I meet a gypsy, a nomad on the way…
I ask the rebel, the defiant what she knows…

She says,”The journey is when one is already home.”
One doesn’t have to leave for it,
One doesn’t have anywhere to go…

Am i the journey and the destination?
Am i already home?

Is it really that simple?
Its been the hardest place to reach…

Now i have nowhere to go…
As the wise old nomad told me,
“You are everywhere, so where do you have to go?
